Top ways to prepare for your wedding day.
I have so many brides ask me how to prepare for there wedding days and I thought I’d help everyone out by comprising a list of ways to look and feel your best before your wedding day. Small changes can have big results especially if implemented weeks or months in advance.
Tip number 1: Tackle texture on your skin
I’ve done a whole blog post on this subject and it’s worth a read. You have some options but first decide if your texture is from the skin being dehydrated or if it’s acne related. From there you can decide your course of action. If you’re stumped shoot me a line. I work in a spa and have the tools and people available to get your skin looking it’s best!
Tip number 3: Stay hydrated, like really hydrated
I will say this over and over. I have so many brides sit down in my chair with cracked ultra dry lips. This is one of the bodies ways of telling you that you need more moisture. Drink 6-8 glasses of water a day. The visual effects of your skin will be astonishing. Drinking plenty of water will have your skin looking clearing and smoother. Lines will even be less noticeable.
Tip number 3: Get your hair done beforehand
In the weeks beforehand get a hair cut. Hair with layers has more volume. If you like whispy texture around your face get face framing layers. If your ends needs a refresh get a trim. As for color, I don’t really recommend getting grays covered I love silver streaks but getting a toner can help brighten tone to silver or blonde hair. You can really do a toner on any color hair to refresh the color and add shine that will fade over time instead of leaving a line of demarcation.
Hopefully, these tips helped you out! There’s so many other ways to prepare like eating healthy, minimizing stress, getting grounded and exercising. Every one has their own method of self care. If you have any question or if you’re trying to tackle anything specific shoot me a message and I’ll do my best to help you out.
